Hello Jumbo Fans,

With the sprint through the spring sports season well underway, let me begin by sharing some exciting news about one of our spring sport student-athletes. Andrew MacMillen, a senior on our Jumbo men’s rowing team, has been selected to represent the United States at the 2018 World University Rowing Championshipstaking place this summer in Shanghai, China.

In spring sports action, Andrew and his teammates rowed our men’s team to an undefeated weekend with victories over Amherst, UMass, Middlebury, and Williams during season-opening races at home on Malden River. Our women’s rowing Jumbos also enjoyed a successful season-opening weekend and are currently ranked #8 in the country.
